Community Service Challenge

Once again we are excited to challenge every 4-H club to collect food items for those in need in our area. This year we are donating to St. John’ Food Pantry.

We are also collecting pet food for a no-kill rescue shelter in Tippecanoe County, North Central Indiana Spay and Neuter at Crystal Creek Kennels.

We will also be collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.

Summertime is a crucial time for these organizations to receive donations and they need our help. As 4-H’ers, we are here to serve and help meet the needs of those in our community. The reward of meeting peoples’ needs is in the time and energy sacrificed to make a difference; it stands by itself. But, to offer some incentive, the 4-H clubs who collect the most amount of food (measured by weight per club member) will receive pizza gift certificates.

We will collect all food items at the Junior Leader Meeting on July 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall.. So, take the 4-H Club Challenge and help those in need!
